Vendor Sponsorship Form (doc)

ASSE Greater Chicago Chapter provides a unique forum for Chapter Members who are responsible for safety activities within a variety of organizations throughout the Chicagoland area to meet monthly to participate in a technical presentation. Vendor Sponsors benefit by providing the latest information on products and services to safety professionals in an informal setting.

A Vendor Sponsor who is interested in sponsoring a Chapter meeting may attend one meeting before deciding to sponsor a meeting with pre-registration directed to the 1st Vice President. The Greater Chicago Chapter meets on the second Tuesday of every month from September through June. Please see the contact listed below to return the Application and Agreement Forms.

To be eligible for sponsorship, a vendor’s application must be received a minimum of one month prior to the meeting they wish to sponsor. To apply for sponsorship, please complete the application and agreement forms and send them back to the 1st Vice President listed below. Your application will be presented to the ASSE Greater Chicago Chapter Executive Committee for approval.

If you have any questions or require further information, please contact:

In order to be considered as a Vendor Sponsor, the vendor company must sell products or services that are directly related to the safety profession. The Greater Chicago Chapter reserves the right to review, accept or deny all applications for Vendor Sponsorship if it deems that the request is not in the best interest of the Chapter Members.

It is also understood that it is the responsibility of the potential Vendor Sponsor to submit payment of $250.00, which covers sponsorship for one Chapter meeting fee, the completed Vendor Sponsorship Application Form and Vendor Sponsorship Agreement Form in order to be considered for approval. If accepted by the ASSE Greater Chicago Chapter Executive Committee, a vendor company will be allowed to present information on their product or service for a maximum of ten (10) minutes during the meal portion of the Chapter meeting to the members present at the designated Chapter meeting. The vendor company agrees to the responsibilities of sponsorship as stated in the within the Standing Rules for Vendor Sponsorship.

The one-time per Chapter year meeting fee is $250.00. No refunds will be authorized once the information contained within the sponsorship packet has been received.

Regular meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of each month from September through June. Meetings will be held at Cucina Biagio Restaurant, 7309 West Lawrence Avenue, Harwood Heights, Illinois unless otherwise noted on the Chapter website. Meetings will be called to order at 12:00 p.m. unless otherwise organized by the Executive Committee. Details of all Chapter meetings can be found at chicago.asse.org.

A Vendor interested in sponsoring an ASSE Greater Chicago Chapter meeting may attend one meeting prior to Vendor Sponsorship for $25.00, prior to applying for sponsorship and with prior notification to the 1st Vice President. However, at no time during this meeting will the Vendor representative solicit Chapter members.

After the formal technical presentation, the Vendor Sponsor representative may take unsolicited questions or provide a demonstration to Chapter members.

The Vendor Sponsor may provide samples or product/service to raffle to Chapter members present at the Chapter meeting.
